Wine of the Week:
Cave des Onze Communes Pinot Noir—$21.99
Cave des Onze Communes is a co-op of 220 small growers located in 11 villages in the Val d’Aosta, Italy’s smallest and most northerly growing region. This region is known for it’s light reds and medium-bodied whites, perfect for pairing with the local cuisine (think: Fontina cheese).
This Pinot Noir is perfect for anyone looking to try something delicious from a relatively unknown region. Expect a palate of wild strawberry and earth, with soft tannins. One of the most elegant expressions of Pinot Noir that we have tasted in a long time.
